Description

The Morgantown Crankie Festival is a new, community-centered gathering celebrating crankies. The festival brings together over 25 artists from West Virginia and beyond, alongside local performers, makers, and community members.

You can expect:

  • Live crankie performances throughout the weekend
  • A mix of locally created work and work by visiting guest artists
  • Opportunities to learn about and make crankies
  • A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere 
  • ASL Interpretation at all three performances


Each show will be different!

Saturday's performers are: 

  • Annick Odom, Double Trouble Duo (Linda Durrett and Yank Halmuth), Hannah Lewis, Hannah Standiford, Jo Ann Dadisman, Jody & Jay Best, Lindsay McCaw, The Lantern Sisters (Katherine Fahey & Dan Van Allen), Peter Stevenson & Jamie Lester, and Sam D'Agostino
  • Additional music by Asher Balcarse

By donation, suggested $10-25, no one turned away for lack of funds
