Jarrett Construction Hosts First Responders Celebration Luncheon

Collaborations Community Economic Human Interest Live Local, Love Local, Spend Local Success Stories

To honor those who serve local communities, Jarrett Construction hosted its 3rd annual First Responders Celebration Luncheon to serve first responders for an afternoon.

The luncheon was held at the new Hershman Village development in Morgantown, where 76 new apartments are currently being developed, to introduce the new complex to first responders in case there is an emergency at the location in the future.

The Contractors Association of West Virginia helped sponsor the event, while Smokin’ J BBQ catered.

President of Jarrett Construction, John Jarrett, spoke about the importance of building a connection with your community in this way.

“We’re big into Morgantown, we’re big into this area. We’ve built all over this state, we’ve built all these facilities all over the state, and bringing our first responders into this location, I think, helps build a fellowship between them, the owners of this facility, as well as the citizens and the folks that will be living here,” Jarrett said.

Currently, Jarrett Construction has projects developing in Morgantown, Man, Huntington, and Cannonsburg, Kentucky, and plans to expand this event to those areas to show its appreciation.

The apartment complex under development in Morgantown will open to seniors and families by the end of the year. You can find more information on the complex through Jarrett Construction’s website and its contracting company’s website, Spire Development.
